I got great value for my money at the hotel. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the train station and close to the city centre. The staff were friendly and very helpful, giving me direct information for sightseeing and restaurants. They even allowed me to leave my luggage after check out.
The breakfast offerings could be improved.

The b&b was comfortable and had a nice decor. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The room had lovely touches like complimentary chocolates and a bottle of water. The breakfast selection was extensive and the cooked breakfast was one of the best I've had. The en-suite bathroom had complimentary toiletries, and there were additional amenities provided in the room. The facilities, including the kitchen, dining room, and lounge, were well-maintained and accessible. The location was easy to find and convenient for my needs.
There were limited options for dining within walking distance of the accommodation, but this was not the fault of the hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast provided by Sonia was simply amazing. The hosts, Martin and Sonia, were welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Despite the minor inconvenience of having stairs only, I had a fantastic time exploring Dover. The wifi was also reliable, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. I highly recommend Sandown & The Annexe for a wonderful and memorable stay in Dover.
